To 20TH century icon Andy Warhol SILVER was a favorite medium to convey the future – through which he challenged the conventional hierarchy of artistic discipline and channeled his obsession with the Stars of the Silver Screen – launching a pop cultural revolution. Toronto’s Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) recently reopened with a blockbuster Andy Warhol exhibition and featuring such other innovative greats as Picasso for whom Silver was of immense artistic importance.
